A site conversion from CSS to CMS with an Online Shop for a very talented Psychic.
Paul's existing site was a gleaming example of a creative approach to compliment his psychic abilities. He had built up and nurtured his site introducing a calm and relaxing journey throughout the site, where presentation was everything. The problem Paul found was a common one in todays ever changing online environment; being that it was becoming harder to manage his content, and his online shop became unmanageable, and was totally dependent on a PayPal button system, with very limited control.
The site was presented beautifully and our challenge was to transfer that whole ethos of the original design into a content managed platform. In addition, we installed a full online shop for a much easier and cleaner experience for his customers across the entire site.
For this we had the perfect template that was similar in its core layout to his original site, but the new layout needed to feel cleaner and more contemporary than the last which was easy to achieve with this particular template's flexibility. Our objective was to retain the original design as close as we could; and to enhance the warm tranquil journey that Paul had captured in the previous version.
With Paul's guidance and attention to detail, we focused on the detail in the imagery we used in the shop for his products, and the call to actions taking his visitors on a special journey. The end effect gives the user a warm inviting feeling whilst browsing through the site, and is a far contrast to the typical stereo-type Psychic's website.
